President and Founder
George Pugh, Ph.D., DABT
George Pugh is a board-certified toxicologist with over 20 years of experience in the chemical and consumer packaged goods sectors. He served as Vice President in Global Scientific and Regulatory Affairs for The Coca-Cola Company where he led a team focused on food additives, packaging materials and crop protection technologies. Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, he conducted risk assessments on ingredients used in over-the counter-oral care and personal care products for Colgate-Palmolive. He also has experience in the chemical industry where he conducted toxicological evaluations on petroleum-derived raw materials at ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Pugh is a graduate of Hampton University, where he received a B.A. in Biology. He received a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Virginia Commonwealth University and is board certified in General Toxicology by the American Board of Toxicology.
